Cheap shipping for large packages

I manufacture my own industrial kitchen equipment and want to start selling mainly stainless tables, shelves, sinks, etc., but the shipping costs are sometimes almost more than half the listing price. The shipping for a stainless steel double tier shelf would cost $60+ depending on where it will be delivered, but the listing price is $120. Meanwhile, other buyers who sell the same thing either at the same price or even cheaper have free shipping. Wouldn't they be losing money if you factor in how much they probably wholesaled it for, fees, and packaging? How are they making money? I know I will definitely be losing money. Is there some kind secret shipping company they use?

If you are going to be a regular business shipper with some volume, you need to arrange for some good discounts with a specific carrier that centers on your most often shipped items.

Are you items such that they can ship regular UPS or FedEx, or do you need LTL freight service?
