Hi there,
I sold something, printed the label for USPS First Class package and shipped in a plain old brown box. The sale is here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/163199528136?ssPageName=STRK:MESDIX:IT
The shipping paid was the correct cost as the item weighs less than a pound. The label reflected the amount paid for USPS First Class.
I received a message today saying that I owe more for shipping because I used the Priority Mail service instead of the First Class service....so I was billed over $11 on my Paypal.
Why did this happen? Neither my box nor my label were for Priority Mail so I'm not sure how this could have been confused. All I know is I want my $11 and change back. LOL. Thanks.

If you are guessing weights, and badly might I add, I bet you owe the post office way more than $11.00.

file a claim in paypal on the shipping charge for duplicate charge. the PO will NOT respond to the claim and you will get your money back. I have already done this after being charged extra.
This is really bad advice. There is an appeals process through the USPS for these charges. IF you really are being charged in error then the errors should be addressed through proper channels.
If you are not being charged in error, if your postage really is incorrect, then eventually the USPS will start responding to your false chargebacks and at best you will probably be cut off from being allowed to print online labels.
