How can I change Priority Mail to Parcel after I accepted an offer?

A better question- why would you try?

Not much difference in price as well as I don't believe you can 'choose' "parcel" when creating a listing anyway?

If Priority is more expensive than you thought because of weight, try to see what your priority cubic rate is on pirate ship. It's always a lot cheaper especially if it's heavy and not too huge and bulky.

It's a mistake for any eBay seller not to be making an account with pirate ship and looking at their incredibly competitive priority and ground cubic shipping rates.

If the buyer is requesting Parcel Select, if you're willing to accommodate that request, and if the buyer has not yet paid, then you can go to your orders page, find the transaction and use the send invoice option. You can add another shipping method to the invoice for the buyer to choose when they pay.

Also the Priority would be insured for 100.

Pirate Ship is not 1 penny cheaper. Not sure why people continue to state this.

You can choose both parcel select and retail ground when creating a listing.

The cost difference between parcel select and priority was minimal until one year ago when the Jan 2022 price changes went into effect. Now there can be quite a significant difference in price depending on weight/distance.

Parcel Select Ground is indeed available in the list of shipping options when setting up a listing.

The difference between Parcel Select and Priority grows every time USPS raises their rates.  At current prices, shipping a 5-pound package to Zone 8 costs

$14.38 via Parcel Select and

$24.81 for a Priority Mail eBay label.

If the buyer has requested or OK'd a cheaper but slower shipping method, then the seller can indeed choose that when purchasing their eBay postage label.  They'd  have to  send the buyer an invoice with reduced shipping cost, or they could issue a partial refund if the buyer had already paid for Priority.

@nobody*s_perfect  Is 'Parcel Select' considered 'standard shipping'? (vs Priority is 'express shipping'?)

eBay categorizes Parcel Select Ground as "Economy"; Priority is in the "Expedited" section.

I find pirateship to be the cheapest on heavy items. I send 20 lbs of inventory often to my friends for $11-$13 (depending on if I use a full Cubic foot or it's a little smaller) by their new Cubic Ground rates.

And if you promised Priority and it is heavy it is often way cheaper to use cubic Priority than normal Priority (like $15 instead of $50). So if the OP was promising Priority in his listing but was shocked at the high price, I suggested Pirateship might work for him. I stand by what I said.
