I just printed an International Priority Mail customs form on eBay for a package to Australia. In the past, this form (2976-A) has always been 4 parts that I inserted into the USPS clear plastic holder and attached to the package. The form I just printed out is only a single page. Are there no longer 4 parts to this form? I've looked everywhere online for an announcement to this effect, but I can't find anything. Has something changed, or did I do something wrong? Thanks in advance for any help someone can provide.

I have seen the same thing for shipments to Canada. However, I have printed other PMIntl and it came up as the usual 4 pages.
Maybe an exception for certain, but not all, countries.
If you look close at the label, however, it does show as PRIORITY and my post office has not given me a problem about it.

I just looked at a label I printed and the form is a 2976-A-PMI for a Priority package going to Australia.
I think your 2976-A might be the one part form that is used for a First Class Package International package. Maybe not. I finally found a label for a first class package international and its form is 2976 .

Same thing here.
I also printed a PMI label about a month ago (I think it was to Australia) that was only 1 page. But since then I've printed other PMI's that have been 4 pagaes so guessing it is country specific.

Thanks everyone. The label I printed was definitely a PMI label and it's only a single page. It looks exactly like the first copy of the normal 4-page form. Perhaps it is country specific, as suggested.
Something else wierd happened though. I got a receipt (online label record) that I don't normally get with PMI labels and it says "Not Paid Online" at the top. Yet it lists the postage amount and other pertinent data. And nothing has come out of Paypal that I can see to pay for the label. When I generated the label, I clicked "Pay for shipping and print label" just like normal. I've shipped thousands of packages, including many international shipments, so this isn't my first rodeo. But something isn't adding up and I can't figure it out. I'll be headed to the Post Office today, so maybe they can assist.

Thanks. The package weighs 5 pounds 9 ounces and says so on the PMI label record. Something has changed, as I know about the 1-page form for First Class Mail International.

Neither eBay or Paypal could explain why I was able to print a Priority Mail International label without being charged by Paypal. EBay said it was a Paypal issue and Paypal said it was an eBay issue. So I voided the label and printed another, then the Paypal charge finally showed up for the new label. Again, it was only a single page, versus the 4-part form. As some have suggested, it must be something new for certain countries. Australia appears to be one of these countries.

No, I selected the right option, a Priority Mail International box that weighed 5 pounds 9 ounces. I'll be curious to see if the 4-part form returns next time I print a label to another country besides Australia. Thanks for everyone's ideas!

Well, after voiding the label and printing another, I was finally charged for the original label by PayPal 36 hours after it was printed. And after I called PayPal yesterday and they said no charged were pending. I guess I'll get my $56 back after the void request is approved by the USPS. Very frustrating eBay glitch.

A 36 hour PayPal delay in the charge is unusual, but I believe PayPal has has some issues lately. Doesn't matter that you voided before being charged - two different systems and flows, and although you might think the void should somehow preempt and cancel the pending charge, that isn't how it works.

Thanks. The eBay glitch I was referring to was not sending the charge to Paypal for 36 hours afer I originally purchased the label. Since no money was taken out of Paypal, I was afraid to use the label and ship the package, so I voided it. Prior to the charge, I called both eBay and Paypal to figure out why I had not been charged. Neither had an answer and both blamed it on the other company.

Ah. I wasn't 100% sure that what I focused on was what you meant, but tossed it out for anyone else unclear on the setup and process.
eBay not getting their money toot sweet is even more unusual. 🙂

I've been shipping Priority to Australia with a single page form for a couple of years or so. Packages weighing over 10 pounds and worth over $500. It's nice.
