Case decided in my favour

Hi,

so I purchased an item and when I had gotten it the item was not as described and not authentic. So I messaged seller and never got a response back. I opened a case with eBay and they have now decided in my favour and requested a full refund back to me. Now my question is, what do I do with the item since I haven’t been able to reach the seller?

thabk you for your help!

If you have not received a return mailing label from either the seller or from eBay (or money to purchase your own label if your seller is not in Canada) by the time you receive a refund, you are not obligated to return the item.

Some sellers do not want the added expense of paying for return postage, depending on the value of the item versus the return shipping cost.

Personally, I hang on to the item in the same condition I received it for a week or so, just in case the seller ends up sending postage or a label later on. You would not be obligated to do that.

Perfect, I’ll wait and see if the seller contacts me.
