I CANNOT UPLOAD PHOTOS. I am trying to file a return claim (seller sent the wrong item). When I click the '+' to add photos, the OS's file browser lets me click on the file, but then it comes back to the Ebay screen and no picture is added. (I can create a new listing to sell an item and it WILL let me upload the image) so why would I not be able to upload when filing a return?
I am thinking something weird is going on with the subnet/webpage responsible for the allowing returns but please shed some light on this subject, because it's most likely my fault this isn't working but let me know what I'm doing wrong.
Another crazy thing: I used my other computer with the same OS (both updated Arch Linux) and they both are using Firefox 84.0.2-1. My other computer let me upload photos to my return claim???

My second actually cannot upload photos either. HEY EBAY..what are the technical limitations put on a photo uploaded for a return claim versus the upload rules for photos for a new listing for sale???

So file size limit is ~ 5-6 MB, and the 15,000 pixel limit DOESN'T apply it seems to uploading photos for returns. The image acceptance rules/caveats need to be set in stone, and if it is please send me the official link. Because I definitely could not submit a file about 6.4 MB and 14,900 pixel (length + width) when filing a return request, but I was able to submit a file about 4.7 MB and 15,100 pixels.

Had the same problem so use the EBAY APP on your phone and the posting will then accept your return and let you submit it.
COME ON EBAY - this is a fundamental tech fix.

I'm pretty sure the OPs issue has been resolved long ago since this thread is from January 2021. 🙄
