Can't open Case?

Hi ebay:
I have a problem and I don't know what to do anymore. I have tried to open a case but it not working. 6 days ago I bought a tablet on eBay app, instead of showing PAID BUT NOT YET SENT, it was showing payment pending. The following morning i received the email from eBay stating that
Your recent eBay transaction may be from a compromised account

273260616368 - 10.1'' 4G+64GB Android Tablet PC Octa Core 10 Inch HD WIFI 2 SIM Phablet NEW

We’re writing to let you know that an unauthorized third party may have accessed the seller’s account to list this item. The item has been removed from the site, and the transaction was cancelled. We ask that you take the following precautions:

- If you already paid for the item, you may be protected by eBay. Open a request with the Resolution Center and choose, "I bought an item. I haven't received it yet." You can access the Resolution Center by visiting:

Please 🙏 help me i have already made payment through paypal my money is out there.

I mean, maybe I don't understand your question, but didn't they give you the answer right there in the email?

So, you've tried to open the case, but it won't let you? It's possible you have to wait for the estimated delivery date to pass, even under the circumstances.

You should be able to follow the instructions in the email you received and file the case.  Maybe you clicked on the wrong box or something.  I know this can be rather un-nerving when you have your hard earned money at stake.  But take a deep breath, slow down and read your screens closely.  Don't assume anything.  Pay attention to your screens and all questions asked.

 

If you are still having trouble, then the recommendation to go to PP and cancel or dispute your payment is the next step to take.

if the payment is pending it won't let you file a case but the payment in paypal should have a cancel payment option

Are you sure? There should be a small text link on the original transaction, IIRC it’s above the amount of the transaction. I had to cancel a payment recently and I couldn’t find the cancel link at first because it’s small and obscure.

Yes the payment on PayPal is showing pending is there no other way i can claim money back?

It did not show anywhere were it shows cancel, all I can see is the payment is showing PENDING in my paypal  account.

Look for a small blue text link that says “cancel”. IF it’s there, I think it’s by the amount of the payment. Otherwise call PayPal.

Why do you need another way?  Isn't the goal to keep your money?  Why resist when you have been given a way in which to accomplish your goal.  The cancel link will be a small one, but it is there.  Go into the details of the payment and look very closely for the button.  If you still can't find it, CALL PP.  Get the payment cancelled while it is still in the Pending stage.  If you keep waiting to discover some "other" way to do this, your seller will have your money and then you have a different issue to resolve, which WILL TAKE MORE TIME before your money is returned.

 

Your choice of course.
