I bought a camera on here, item was listed as "For part not working". In description, seller said the main lcd did not work, but top lcd work, sale is final.
I message him asking if camera still taking photo, he said yes, also he emphasize that it's no return sale.
Since he comfirmed it worked. I bought it. Paid for it. Then I got another message from seller stated that sometimes camera will produced err and user'd have to take out battery and reinstall to get it working again. As I was familiar with this err code, I did not mind it.
When I got the item, it did not turn on at all. It's just completely bricked dead. I tried with my batteries also without luck. I recharged the battery it came with, tried again, still dead. So I contacted seller, telling him what's happening. He replied saying this is FOR PART ONLY camera.
I guess I can suck it up. But I wonder in similar cases, when item was listed for part, but what buyer receive was different from seller's description, would buyer be able to open the case against seller?
Such as buyer receiving item in much worst condition or brick dead like my case, or locked phone or something like that?

Yes, you can.
Start a return request for the reason Doesn't match the listing --
then don't write anything more into the request page --
not even once, not even if you feel the ergh.
