Buyer's Selected Shipping Option Grayed-Out When Purchasing the Label

So I sold a fairly heavy item and have to ship it cross-country (PA to CA).  I had 2 shipping options and the buyer rightly chose the much cheaper Fedex Home Delivery (USPS Priority was the other).  So I go to print the label and that option is grayed out and it says ebay cannot get a quote for this service, but all the other Fedex options are there, but crazy expensive ($150+).  The cheapest option I can pick is Fedex Smart Post which is still $15 more than the buyer paid for shipping, plus it's a lot slower.  While trying to print that label I sold another similar item and it's only going a few states away and I did have the Home Delivery option for that label.

The package I'm trying to send is 10lbs 7oz  and 23x17x10, so nothing crazy.  I did put in smaller numbers just to see if it would let me select Home Delivery and it didn't.

I had this happen one other time and I think I read of a workaround on here and used it successfully but I can't find it.

You did try clicking on the "All" button next to USPS and FedEx at the top of the window on the label page right? 

You may have to ship from the FedEx website, just have to give up eBay's discount.

Not sure if this applies, but I've had eBay gray out shipping options for no reason and I just go to PayPal and print my own label.

Going to Paypal to print labels will work, but for Fed Ex, ebay shipping has to be used (or use the Fed Ex website).

Funny, I am trying again this morning, and now the only Fedex option is smart post, all the others are now grayed out (2 day, overnight, etc.).  I did chat with an ebay rep and they said they are having issues on the site with Fedex and have had numerous sellers report this issue.  They are working on it.  Hope it's fixed by the end of the day today!

@rivertown-pickers  This has been going on since the 21st as far as I know.  No solution in sight.  Just gotta keep bugging CS as far as I can tell.

What really sucks is I sold the item on the 20th but didn't have a box big enough to ship it so I picked one up on the way home from work the next day (21st) and tried to print the label.  Had I had the right box I could have avoided this!!  I'm actually waiting for a call from ebay CS right now to bug them about it again.  I have to ship it tonight and I don't feel like eating the extra shipping cost.

Did you try clicking on the custom option on the print label page? 

This would probably give you the option you originally had available.

Custom as in custom size box dimensions?  If yes, then yeah, I tried that.
