Buyer returned package lost and opened case to get money back

Hi,

The buyer would like to return the item. I purchased the return label through eBay. Buyer shipped the item but USPS lost the packge. During the post office doing the investigation, buyer opened a case against me and eBay give the full refund back to buyer right away. What should I do now, take the loss?
