Buyer returned different item. What would be an appropriate response to feedback already left?

A buyer returned an item that did not match the original item sent. They were given a full refund by eBay. I have already left them positive feedback when they originally paid. What would be an appropriate response to that feedback (that won't get me into trouble) Thanks!

Keep in mind, a negative comment cannot be left for the buyer. I would just block the buyer.

I don't think you can leave a comment on your comment.
Only if the buyer leaves a comment, then you can comment on that buyer's comment.
But, if you can leave one, just be factual, not necessarily positive or negative.

I wasn't planning on leaving a negative comment. More like "refunded however return didn't match orignal item sent".
Honestly that most likely counts as something you can’t say

It's a whole can of worms and I don't understand why you even want to go there.
It would mean nothing.

Your buyer could be old, seniel or confused. There brain could be turning into mush. They don't know what they are returning or what they are doing. So just call the buyers local police department and have them go do a welfare check on buyer. If nothing else, at least it would be annoying to your scamming buyer. Just a thought......

None.
Report the buyer for Abuse of Returns and block them.
Leaving a less than positive comment can get you a nice policy violation.
