Hello,
what do I do if buyer requested to return item I accepted
and I sent him return label,
but he never sent the item back (he was suppose to ship it back 2 weeks ago)
Usually I call ebay customer service and they would help me,
but nobody in customer service is working right now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

Nothing....just wait for buyer to return. If the buyer doesnt return the item, no refund will be given them....idealy.
Buyers have been known to call ebay and whine about how they feel they should be able to keep item AND get a return.
Youve done all you can do for right now.

Hopefully the clock will run out on this buyer and the return will be closed. Then all the buyer can do is sit, scratching their head wondering what just happened

I have this same exact problem with a buyer who was issued a label on March 18th! Mind you, the buyer also resides in the USA, and was provided a label. No onus on him except to print out the label and affix it to the packaging which was already provided!
First I was told me the case would time out after 31 calendar days, now informed today its been extended it to 35 business days!
It's pretty sad that ebay feels entitled to change the rules at their whim and take advantage of this pandemic to play with seller's much needed cashflows.
Shame on ebay!!!

These type buyers slay me.
They gripe about an item, and when they are given instructions on what to do about it, they sit on their hands as if twiddle dee and twiddle dum is going to fairy fly their item back to the seller.
Buyers are shooting them selves in the foot doing this. If they dont send the item back, request gets closed and they have now lost their chance at a refund.
Assinine, really

I came here with the same issue and that's absurd, but I know that there are people like that out there.

Does it seem you're being fed a line from a policy effective March 27, 2020, which does not apply to your label issued on Mar 18?
Seller-Provided Labels: If you provide non-eBay return labels and upload tracking we may close the return if we don't see tracking scans or [smoke] signals from the buyer showing the item was shipped within 15 business days of when the label was provided. If tracking is not uploaded, we may wait up to 35 business days before closing the return.

yes, it's totally a waste of everyones time for buyers to do this but I guess these type buyers have all that time to spare...
