Buyer request return but won’t reply to message

A buyer requested a return said it did not match description. It does. So I uploaded a picture of description showing her where it states what she says it does now and I messaged buyer  asking to send me a picture of item so I can be sure I didn’t make a mistake with shipping the wrong item. This was 3 days ago. Now what do I do? Accept the return and wait for her to ship it back? Or just leave it and wait for eBay to close it out? I have no problem refunding after she returns item if in fact I made a mistake but I’m wondering if maybe item didn’t fit or she changed her mind and is using this as a way out of it. I don’t feel like I should have to pay for shipping because of this.

Buyer request return but won’t reply to message

If it has been 3 days you better accept the return and select return for refund. Don't give the refund however until item has been returned to you. If you leave it up to Ebay they might refund the buyer without requiring them to return your item. And then you get a defect on your account for not resolving the issue with your buyer. Unfortunately there isn't anything to be done about these lying buyers as Ebay ALWAYS sides with them regardless if you have proof otherwise or not. The only thing you can do is ensure she ships it back and then you can appeal it to maybe get your shipping fee back if Ebay chooses to give you a courtesy refund. But I'm not quite sure how that works really because if you accept the return it's like admitting guilt I think however everyone knows you never want Ebay to get involved as it never turns out in the seller's favor.

If the buyer refuses to even respond I would state within the request that since she failed to respond that you will accept the return and provide the shipping label and inform them all returns are held and opened at your post office in company with your post master, hopefully discourages them sending you back something different or an empty package, and that any incorrect/empty packages results in a mail fraud case. Post that in the return request and then select accept and provide the return label. Immediately add the buyer to your blocked bidder list so they aren't able to buy anything further from you as they don't seem too honest to begin with.

If they filed an INAD 3 days ago, you only have a certain amount of time to accept the return.

Accept the return and refund once you get the item back.

If you don't, Ebay could refund for you and let them keep the item.

Have A Great Day.
