Wow, thats pretty messy, you should have just relisted the keyboard with shipping and let him pay for only that. Can you cancel the transaction, refund, and just list the keyboard, and let him pay for that? Other than that, Im stumped, maybe someone will have a better idea.

You still can select and pay only the shipping you need when you create the label.

Op will pay fvf's on the shipping in his listing.

@bonjourami I assumed OP will do a partial refund for the over charge. And correct me if I am wrong, but didn't ebay recently start prorating fees, or not yet? If not, OP of course will have to cancel and relist just the keyboard.

Do you mean prorating sellers shipping fees? Ive never heard that. From what I know, Ebay will charge the fvf on the shipping fee in the listing. Maybe someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Cancel the order and list the keyboard separately
If you listed an entire computer and only sent out part of it, Ebay wants you to send out EVERYTHING in the listing... buyer can open a INAD (Item Not As Described) request and your day will get a WHOLE LOT WORSE.
It doesn't matter what is communicated in messages... it's what is being offered in the listings. I'm looking at the listing and it is for a IBM computer for $440.00 plus the shipping.

@bonjourami Yes eBay started refunding the FVF on partial refunds on May 25th.
Not the .30 cent process fee but if you partially refund for shipping, you now get the FVF partially refunded.

The fees are on the total amount buyer paid, which include shipping, so if the total is reduced due to lower shipping the fees are reduced as well. Still depends on whether ebay ever implement prorating that they announced some time ago.
Much safer to cancel and relist only the keyboard, but now ope will be stuck fronting the refund amount until buyer's payment clears.

Ebay is sending me a lettter saying the guy paid the shipping but the guy is saying he did not pay the shipping so what way is it?? how do I find out for sure what he did pay how do I get proof ? Below is a picture of the email and also when I went to print the lable it also said he paid for the shipping. So I am telling the buyer that IM sending it all and he is telling me that he only paid for the item and not the shipping so How do I find out. ? Its looking more an dmore like I should cancel this order

I think canceling this transaction is your only option at this point, then relist the just the keyboard.

You need to cancel the order, then set up a listing just for the keyboard.

Something about ebay wont just refund the the charges back to the customer they are going to pull these funds out of my paypal account. And not just cancel the transaction is this how this will work ?? They are asking for an alternetive. I have paypal credit but not sure if it will use that to refund the money ? How does that work when I do the refund will ebay use my funds or the ones they pulled from the client how does it work?

The refund should be automatic with canceled transaction..reversing the buyers payment.

You're going to be charged $0.30 for the cancelled transaction. Yeah, you eat that charge for any reason the transaction is cancelled. That's why ebay wants your credit card, the refund is going to be more than you collected.
BUT the boardies are correct. Don't go through with the sale and just send the keyboard, that's asking for an INAD complaint (although those can happen if the buyer doesn't like the item, doesn't like the way the wind blows or if the sun is out).
Best bet is to cancel (and pay the $0.30), relist JUST the keyboard, tell the buyer what the listing number is and wait for them to buy it.
