A buyer recently lost a claim for return for "not as described" as his claims were false,and Ebay agreed,yet they allowed him to leave a negative feedback though pretty sure i read this wasnt allowed for false claims,makes me think whether worth to continue selling if this is allowed,really dont understand the logic,what am I missing?

You ca apply to eBay for feedback removal but I'm afraid in this case they won't help you. Since the transaction wasn't cancelled, buyer is allowed to post his opinion. Your replying to it is about all you can do.

Buyers can leave negative feedback on a flawless transaction. There is little recourse available, just have to take it and move on.

@friday-95
Not sure how the buyer lost?
The listing says the I/D is 1 1/4 inches.
According to the image, it's bigger then that.

I was contact eBay and request that the feedback be removed as that is their actual policy to remove any negative feedback when the buyer loses on a claim

Buyer lost by admitting to not measuring on his end to make sure these were what he needed,I have sold a lot of these with same measurement and this buyer was the only one who didnt check first.

I don't how many different sizes they have, but the size in the listing wrong and it was a legit INAD.

Buyer was in the right. Your measurements are off

Perhaps you should check all the listings for Hollaender fittings and tell the ones that list them in 1/4,1/2 etc measurements that they are all wrong,and I will repeat as apperently you didnt grasp the first time,buyer admitted he was wrong because he did not measure on his end, and filed a false claim,period.Done and aint coming back so dont waste your time.

What can you tell me, when your listing title and description said:
I.E: The item is not original and Doesn’t come with installation hardware, And the buyer left a negative feedback claiming that the item is not original and doesn’t come with hardware!!
Does it make any sense?????? How can you protect your seller account when the buyer is allowed to do anything they want even if you have a detail description??
