A buyer wants to return an item that didn't fit him. He opens a case and in his message he says that he normally wears a medium, but this medium was to big, but then he clicks on the item does not match photos or description. Can it be changed to "does not fit" after he already selected the wrong reason.

Nope.

So would you just accept it and move on or call Ebay to see what they can do?

I would accept it. You don't want the buyer to have ebay step in and help.

1) I would accept the return. The die is cast, and the return is going to happen. Ebay will provide him a label to use for shipping it back to you, before refunding his money.
2) Since a SNAD does count as a defect/mark against you, Why NOT go ahead and see if you can do anything about the 'mark' against you for it? You have nothing else to lose at that point. I would NOT tried to argue the return with them, or try to convince them the buyer is wrong (you won't win) but I would try to do something about the mark (perhaps pointing out the SZ advertised was marked correctly).
I'm not trying to get any false hopes up, just saying something is better than nothing. And I am Sorry you are in this spot. Wishing you smoother sales ahead.

You just need to accept it, have the return label issued at your expense and allow the buyer to return the item.
You most certainly can call Ebay, but all it will be is a exercise and a waste of time. Since Ebay started the Service Metrics, they will not change the reason that a SNAD is opened no matter how much proof you have. Sad but true.

Nope. You have to absorb your buyers "mistake". You have to do it every single time they make "mistakes".
Don't forget to report your buyer...not that it does any tangible good.
