How do I charge him the postage now? Send him a separate PP invoice? Thanks.

I would message the buyer and make sure he is not going to pick up.

If he is not picking up I would cancel the purchase and have the buyer rebuy with the correct shipping.

Cancel with issue with buyers address reason and advise them to repurchase.

For local pickup the only way to show delivery is either from QR code scan from phones. Or the special code given to the buyer.

Its also technically against eBays rules because you would have to charge him the shipping outside the transaction with PayPal, and that could be considered fee avoidance.

So I called eBay. After 2 minutes on hold, the support person said I had two options, send him an invoice via PP for the postage or cancel the auction and re-list it and have him buy it now. I did the PP as it was easier.

So it must not be fee avoidance as eBay told me to do it.
