Where is a good place to purchase bubble wrap or the brown paper for stuffing inside packages for item protection?  somewhere that is reasonable.   Thanks everyone, SH

Don’t overlook using crumpled up newspaper pages.  It offers effective protection.

basically you just google packaging supplies near me in google and find local distributors, not office depot or other retailers, you want wholesalers you should be able to find nice big rolls of bubble wrap for around $30-35, which is about the same price as it would cost you to make it with a counter top machine anyway.

Why buy it? just go to any retail show and they throw tons of it away.....Ulta Beauty is a great place to get free bubble wrap and packing.....along with boxes. Any place that does not sell them is happy to give it to you if you tell them you are reusing it so it does not end up in a landfill.

Bubble wrap is best for breakable items as if offers the best protection.  The paper can be used for items that won't break as easy.

I buy 700' of Bubble Wrap (It comes as 2, 350' Rolls) for about $35 on eBay.

Order something from Walmart/Sam's. Something like a bottle of vitamins, and they'll send it to you in a box that could fit a microwave and no less than 30ft of kraft paper or air pillow...

Seriously have a years worth of padding from my last few orders. Otherwise I have also found eBay to often have the best prices on shipping supplies.

Check local suppliers near you (not retail stores). I get mine locally at a cheaper rate than you can find on here by quite a bit. And as far as retail stores (home depot, lowes, office max/office depot, staples, uhaul, etc) I pay about 10% of what they charge.

The truth? There isn't one specific place or vendor that is always the lowest price. Prices fluctuate. I have several vendors I check, and go from there. It isn't always about who has the cheapest price.  I consider what reward bonuses I have on my credit card as well as what offers are available to certain cash back websites. Sometimes those extras make the overall cost lower, and I end up buying from a vendor who is priced higher than others.
