Where is a good place to purchase bubble wrap or the brown paper for stuffing inside packages for item protection? somewhere that is reasonable. Thanks everyone, SH

Don't buy packing material.
Find a dealer or distributor of <whatever>.
They usually have lots of bubble wrap and other packing material (styrofoam peanuts and paper) that they will give you.
As a matter of fact, they are happy to get rid of it.

Look behind a furniture store. Massive amounts can be used in wrapping a single piece of furniture or picture frame or lamp. Why buy it when you can get it for free.

@mustang707 wrote:@nyr134 said "Don’t overlook using crumpled up newspaper pages." Personally I never use newspaper since the newsprint ink rubs off and gets the inside of the box (or item) dirty.
It also offers lousy protection for breakables as it packs down quickly and has no resilience.

For paper, I would look for a good price for a roll of Honeycomb Packing Paper.
I prefer that to regular paper, and a roll lasts a good long time.

Grainger, if you have one nearby and can pick up to avoid the shipping cost.

@loose_goose_garage wrote:I buy 700' of Bubble Wrap (It comes as 2, 350' Rolls) for about $35 on eBay.
Much cheaper than you can buy in a store
@loose_goose_garage fyi; the $35 sellers have been selling ('700' which is really 350') to customers for over 5 years. I used to buy that way. Got 4 rolls. Then 10 different sellers, all giving 2 rolls the past 5 years.
So, pulled one out, unrolled it down the street and measured it.
175 feet.
350 feet advertised as 700 feet.
When I pointed it out to the seller, they refunded.
Total rip offs and 100's are doing it.
@bamaseller2010 Try one of the 'club big box' stores. For $60 you get 960 feet.

I find bubble wrap at Menard's for a very reasonable price, I don't know if Menard's is available where you are, If not google for shipping supplies.

I don't much care for crumpled newspaper, But brown packaging paper is a better choice, It all depends on what you are packing & how fragile it is.

I buy my bubble wrap (the big rolls) at Sams. Cheaper than Walmart or anywhere else around here.

We had the same issue so sadly bubble wrap is not something we ever buy on E-bay anymore. Rolls were much shorter than listed...

if you cannot source the big rolls from a local wholesaler at a decent price then american bubble boy is probably your 2nd best option on amazon.
