Ok so what happend was I accidentaly bought a item with the wrong shipping address and I told the seller multiple times that it was the wrong address before they shipped it and they said they couldnt do anything about it so I asked them to cancel the order or give me a refund and they said they couldnt so supposly they shipped the item to the wrong address now am I able to get my money back because ebay can review the messages and they will clearly see this.

It's not up to ebay and it's not the sellers responsibility to 'see' your messages before they ship. If the item gets returned by the new occupant at the address that you had on file, then the seller can refund you. At this time, the seller shipped to the address provided and cannot change the address anyway, they would have had to cancel the sale and had you repurchase with the corrected address. Hang in there and wait to see if the item is returned to the seller (tracking will show it being refused). Of course, if the new occupant keeps the item, you could send them a 'snail mail' to the address?

This seller clearly doesn't get it. They CAN cancel an order and use the buyer requested option - No ding on their account. However, ship anyway and they could earn a red donut - negative feedback. Something factual - Seller refused to cancel order when requested, bad address.
If that gets removed then use the "Report Seller" option and complain that they didn't cancel when they could have and ended up "forcing" a sale. Use/mention eBay emails as proof.
That is about all you can do.
Might want to update your addresses in eBay?

Unless it has already been shipped. I have a one day handling time but I frequently get items out the door the same day they are purchased. If, that evening, I get an address change request it is simply too late.
Yes, I can try to intercept the package but who is going to pay for that? Not me.

If you told the seller before they shipped then yes they should have cancelled the order. Seller error in that instance. However the seller isn't required to do so. No, eBay will not refund you because it is your responsibility to have your address current. It doesn't matter that you told the seller because sellers are not allowed to make any changes to the shipping address. It voids any seller protections. So I'm sorry this happened to you and hopefully it will work out in the end that you get your package forwarded somehow. Good lesson to learn for the future. Best of luck to you....

@jojo8044 You have to understand that Sellers have very little protection and one area they have some in is shipping to the address on file. Some Buyers actually try to get Sellers to ship to the wrong address so they can scam them out of the item. As for Cancelling, that would have been the best thing for the Seller to do, not sure why they didn't.

I think it doesn't help this situation that the seller loses money now when a sale is cancelled after payment. Paypal won't return any of the fees they charged so if it's a large sale that could be a significant amount. It's probably making sellers less willing to cancel.
