So long story short, I accidentally mixed up two orders. I’ve been doing this a while and have never had this happen. Both buyers have been cool and still want what they actually ordered and I have no problem paying to have them shipped back to me and then shipped out again. My question is, what is the best way to do that?

Ask each buyer to ship it back to you and let you know what they spent. Then you can simply 'refund' them that amount from their original order.

This happens.
You need to provide each buyer with a return label and cross your fingers both of them return them so you can reship.
WHAT each buyer should do is request to return an item that's not as described, get a return label and when each one is returned you refund and relist. Then they rebuy and the second time around don't mix up the packages.

An alternative plan would be to print two more labels. Increase or decrease the postage if the distance and zones require it. Use a $0.55 stamp and mail the labels to the buyers.
You might ask the buyers for their email addresses and email PDF files. eBay is sometimes tolerant of exchanging contact information after payment has been sent.
I accidentally switch labels once a year and send more packages. Luckily I have almost always had duplicate items to send out.
