Here's what the buyer said
Reason
Just didn't like it
Comments
The purse was lovely and just as presented. It was just a little heavy than I like, so, unfortunately, I d like to return it. Thank you.
Is there anything I need to know or do about this return except return the money when she sends it back. I have never had an automatic return where I didn't talk to the buyer.

Nope. All you have to do is refund her if she returns the item.

If the buyer will not provide you with any tracking by March 13 you should call eBay and ask them to close this return.

It's Buyer Remorse so she pays the return shipping. If she has not returned the item by the date specified by eBay, call them and have the case closed.
If you have a handling charge for returns, this will be deducted from the return that you send her.

Thank you for your help, everyone.
Now, I know some things to look for.
Hopefully, this will go smoothly.

How do I get my seller final value fees back? I just realized that I don't know how to do this! Thanks so much.

The fees will be credited to your account automatically by ebay when you complete the refund upon return of the item.

That is really good to know! Thank you!

I received the same return message today from eBay for a piece of antique jewelry.
I must have missed the update about the new "automatic return" policy because it took me by surprise.
I called eBay and the representative stumbled over trying to explain it to me but, after reviewing the return request, said that I wasn't responsible for the refund and that eBay would be sending the money back since I didn't have this set up in m return policy settings.
That sounds incorrect to me. Really? eBay will foot the bill for this? I'm skeptical.
And I find the policy manifestly unfair to sellers who, once again, are left at the mercy of unscrupulous buyers. One more way that sellers are losing control over their eBay business with unfair policies instituted by eBay.
