Looking into shipping an item to azerbaijan and USPS says they have delivery confirmation, but when I talked to a local USPS manager they said their tracking ends at the US for this country.

I wanted to see if anyone shipped to azerbaijan recently and has the tracking number so I can see how long it took, and so i can see it had delivery confirmation.

Here is the current list of countries with electronic delivery confirmation (e-delcon).

Azerbaijan is NOT on the list. Your local manager is correct - the tracking ends when the package leaves the US.

The first reply is correct that Azerbaijan is not on the E - Delcon list and will have no tracking outside of the US, I do send to countries outside of E - Delcon but with Priority Mail only which will have tracking + Insurance options, not knowing the weight or size or value of the item to see if it is worth the postage payment for Priority as it will increase the cost quite significantly.

If you do send 1st class and an INR is opened you will lose the item ( which they most likely have but you'll never know ) and you will be forced to refund.
