Passing 10 days since I mailed 2 packages priority mail. Neither has been delivered and the only time either appeared on the tracking info was the day I went to the post office. I launched a search for both online but so far nothing. Anyone else going through the same thing? Anyone have packages that eventually started moving or are they still stuck in limbo?

As a public service USPS can't refuse packages. A large part of the overflow of packages is due to UPS/Fedex Surepost/Smartpost and Amazon.

I have asked those customers I refunded this month to let me know when they receive their items.

Hopefully, they will pay me.

If not, then it's a total loss.

That is correct. Fedex/UPS cut off several large online retailers this Fall. When that happened USPS was overwhelmed by the end of November.

There are still delays... Been waiting 9 days for usps priority shipping. Contacted USPS about the Shipping and within a day they finally moved the package from the original departed location and showing it arrived at the next transit location. You have to reach out to them through a form on the USPS website to get them moving your packages clearly. Why the US Government continues to bail out this failed postal service is beyond anyone's comprehension.

I want to correct you on this. I am a mail carrier and we have been over whelmed since the shut down LAST Feb/March. I actually got cussed at yesterday because this guys heated mattress pad was one of the boxes I had to leave along with8 other packages. He was down at the mailbox waiting (must have seen my flasher coming up the road). He has seen the arrived at unit scan but not the avalible for pick up. He caused such a stink that the Postmaster had me run it out after work. I get paid for 7:30 to 3:30 on my route evaluation. We were all in the office and working by 6:15 yesterday, I didn't get back to the Post Office until 4:45 and had to run this almost to the furthest reaches of my route before I could start my 40 minute commute home.

Seriously now USPS did not move your package because you contacted them. They did their best to ignore that 1 million and one form filled out.

Your package moved because it did.

C'mon now...

Positive thought but no. This is USPS during covid. If you cant handle knowing there are delays than use FedEx or UPS and then next complaint is they charged you more than the estimate on ebay.

I have had 2 sellers switch to FedEx on me. One wasn't worth much and it qualified for MM so they probably spent more on shipping than it should have. The other was over $200 worth of .925 jewelry findings to be put together for my B&M. Both had been scanned delivered, neither were left at my house and when I and the sellers requested the GPS location the next day both tracking numbers started showing "Invalid Number". I did get refunded for the book and the seller shipped me another set of the findings which arrived in 3 days via USPS flat rate envelope. Both FedEx and UPS are now dumping packages beside my mailbox which doesn't matter to me as I am at the end of a mile long dead end country road with only 6 houses along it.

It's November 2021 and I have 4 late shipment dings on my seller account. My items were dropped off at the Post Office a day after being paid and all four were delivered ON TIME, however Ebay isn't lifting a finger to remove the late tracking uploads from my seller account. I'm small potatoes and these are going to lower my seller status.

Ebay tracking and USPS tracking don't match. Oh well.

Thought I'd let you.

Everyone with late mail, can thank your Democratic president Biden for the mandate, a lot of people let go or walked out for no virus shot, post offices everywhere are having hiring events hoping to fill those positions, problem is, the only people looking for work are the ones who refuse to get the virus vaccination!?! It's the circle of stupid that Biden seems to work from. Probably why Biden isn't making White House workers, the homeless, refugees & the CDC are all not mandatory, because the white house works be empty which means no secret service workers there protecting him. Refugees because those people will fill in the open jobs that Americans refuse to work if they're forced to get vaccinated, nobody has the right to tell you what to do with your body, aren't the Democrats big on pro abortion that woman have a right to what's being done to their bodies, why not pro yes or no for the vaccination? Makes one wonder what's really in this shot; their leader= Lucifer's blood??

So until someone smacks sense into biden's index card writers head, to get rid of the ridiculous mandate, (as long as you have had your shot, you're protected,) so what's the hub bub all about anyways?

Sorry hon, but you have that all wrong. The reason that the mail is slow falls clearly on tRump not Biden.

#1. tRump appointed DeJoy to purposely hinder the mail leading to the election. For the placement, DeJoy handed tRump 2.5 million dollars and even pressured his employees to contribute to tRump. He also stole his own brother's ID to donate more than the legal amount. (his brother is suing him over this)

#2 DeJoy removed and destroyed millions upon millions of dollars worth of sorting equipment prior to the election and that has not been replaced.

#3 Mail carriers could not remote work and have one of the highest percentages of covid cases, long haul cases and deaths.

#4 Due to the pandemic the number of packages daily for the past 20 months meets or exceeds what we normally had during the holiday season in past years. In my small 7 route office, we get 3 to 6 PALLETS of Amazon alone daily.

#5 and yeah we have trouble getting new hires. So do FedEx and UPS. when they see the number of packages they will have to schlep and the long hours in all kinds of weather they run.

I have been at this job for 21 years (rural mail carrier). I can retire in February and probably will. I also will probably for a part-time clerk or PMR position with USPS when I do. (a little less stress on the old bod).
