Anyone having trouble printing Canadian shipping labels on USPS thru e-bay?

Postage went up .  all domestic labels printed ok grabbing more $$ from us for uncle sam --- ok with us - they do provide great service for us.

i am able to buy label for Canada but just when i hit purchase and expect a label to pop up on my screen i get the following msg.  i am buying first class international for 8 oz package.  

We're having trouble printing your label.

• • We had a problem retrieving the label. [Error: 64541-Content type Documents is only supported for First Class Mail International]

Hello e-bay--- is that a problem on your end or USPS interface issue?  have to ship the item today per e-bay handling time.  HELP...

The idiots at ebay are not aware, at least as of 2 agents and about 10 minutes ago. Finally a third one suggested I ship Priority to International destinations and they would credit the difference back in ebay fees.....WHAT..........This is total **bleep**.

It is almost 9pn MST, not fixed yet. I sent the information out to my Intl customers about the delay in shipping. Ebay needs to take BIG HEAT on this. The agents they must have had to take illiterate tests to get a job there. They get the fat checks and we get the **bleep**

Well if I have to pay for the extra postage then I will cancel the orders. I won't ship INTL any more. I am not paying over 25.00 for priority when I only got 8.55 for shipping.

HA HA, I know it is not funny. But it is the money some eat on by selling on ebay. Maybe today is the day I check out ETSY. Subscription is up in March, better get things outa here.

There has been some bad info given out this morning.  The problem is that international shipping labels are not printing as PACKAGE rate which is allowed.  They are trying to print as LETTER rate which is not allowed.    Thus the system is glitching and locking out the printing of the package rate labels.

As a work around until this is fixed if you do not wish to wait or your buyer does not want to wait then you can buy a label on Stamps.com for less than USPS.coms click and ship.

Give them a break.  They fixed it and told us that it won't count as late shipment.  

When coding and interfacing with another system, in this case USPS postage calculation,  some times things happen --- smart or dumb or poorly paid or highly paid -- we all have trouble getting everything right the first time around -- now and then.

Also, every year there is a postage increase and this is the first time I saw an issue.  

While it is frustrating, why say mean things about e-bay staff --- at the end of the day --- it is still state of the art system though they mess up things now and then.   Just saying.  I have worked in corporate  offices and I know working with IT folks, it is not always easy to code every whim and fancy management comes up with or other depts wish for IT get it done yesterday.  They are human beings and they should be allowed mistakes now and then.  cheers
