Anyone having problems with USPS not updating tracking and very slow service?

I shipped and item to go to NY PRIORITY 2/3 DAYS on the 9/2 at USPS . The first tracking was TODAY 9/5 WITH A DELIVERY DATE OF 9/9! That is unacceptable considering I had to wait 4 days for eBay to deposit $$ with the HORRIBLE Managed Payments!

BOY, USPS really needs to increase their prices for the quality service they deliver. Great place to work with all the benefits.

In October, USPS ,through the holidays, are increasing their prices that way maybe the can provide better service using PONY express GEES

Re: Anyone having problems with USPS not updating tracking and very slow service?

Better get used to it. I mail 12,000 boxes a year via 4 class media mail. It used to take 7-10 days and is now taking 2-3 weeks. First it was the devastating coronavirus delaying the mail.  I have dozens of customer complaints every week and the they won't pay more for postage like ups or fedex. Then it was trump's stooge rogue postmaster Dejoy undermining the 2020 election and slowing down the mail. Then it is managed payments with it's 3-4 delay instead of paypal's timely 24 hour turnaround. Man, the whole world is totally unacceptable in every way possible. Looks like the only way to fix our unfixable problems is according to my attorney: to take off for mars!

Re: Anyone having problems with USPS not updating tracking and very slow service?

I thought I had a problem with USPS not scanning the tracking.   But I have now figured out the problem lies with the tracking system logs.  Not sure if that makes any sense but for example:  I sold an item from Phoenix Az it was picked up late on a Friday afternoon.  By Monday afternoon the system showed it had been scanned in New Mexico on that Monday.  I thought my local office completely forgot to scan it.  I talked to my carrier and she said there was no way labels pre printed (as here on Ebay) could not be scanned due to their system.  Well later on in the week I looked into the tracking number system again and now it showed all those missed dates and times and scans.  So it is not the post office but the system that provided the tracking information--it is slow to update.
