I called support and they said it was a known glitch, but wondering if anyone found a way to get around it until they fix it.
When I click confirm it says "Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label."

Not that I've found - it's been an ongoing problem for about 3 weeks. You should still be able to print a label using First Class International (just keep in mind it will be uninsured).

Just ran into the same problem with 2 of our orders. It's not the usual "address too long". But these 2 addresses look normal. One of them to Canada, a country we never had any issue generating labels. This never happened to us before.
First Class International is not really an option. Not only it is uninsured, but most of the time it stops tracking after it leaves the country, which leaves you vulnerable to INR cases.

It's been a known glitch for years, whatever that "glitch" may be. I have this happen to me all the time. Just today, same vague error to a perfectly good address in Chile. (It happens a lot with that country.) Only workaround was to use the more expensive USPS label, which had no error or problem with the address.
The other annoying thing (separate issue) is the more than 40 characters bug. I mean, come on. If only 40 characters is allowed for certain fields, then WHY did eBay allow the buyer to enter more than that... and then throw it in my lap to deal with?? And why does that bug STILL exist??
Those two issues have been going on forever. LAME.

Yes, for Mexico (which I recall happening before for Mexico) and Bahrain. No solution for me yet.

Same here. We ship to international destinations a few times a month and never ran into this problem.
I tried your suggestion and rounded the amount to full dollars. Did not work.
I pretty much tried "correcting" every field I could think of....nothing worked.

I had 6 international packages to send out today. eBay generated the shipping labels for 5 of them fine. 1 of them, to a perfectly good address in Spain, would not work - generating the "Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label" error, no matter what. I could not find a way to work around this.
And worse yet, for some reason, the form presented no other options for shipping other than eBay International Standard. No USPS or anything. I had to go to Pirate Ship to make the more expensive USPS label. It accepted the address just fine.

Yeah, that was going on for a couple of weeks. How in the world did no one at eBay notice that that the customs form would generate an error if you put a dollar amount with cents in it??

So it seems ebay was migrating from using EUSxxxx tracking to this new Skypostal tracking. And that's likely what caused the problem. After 2+ weeks delays on a few orders we could magically print those labels (buyers were informed and ok).

Still having that same exact issue even 3 weeks after reporting it to eBay! First it was for an item shipping First Class Mail International to Canada and now it's for an item shipping First Class Mail International to the U.K. What the hell?!

It is still happening now, 2 years later. Right now I can not generate/print a shipping label no matter what I do. It's an address in Thailand and says there are too many characters in the address line. However, when I fix the address line to less than 40 characters (by separating it into two address lines), it doesn't save it and still says there's an error. Nothing works and I'm really frustrated.

eBay, located in India, does not care about us.
