I have sent out multiple packages since friday after thanksgiving. All priority mail. All of them up to today just show processed through the local USPS facilities, nothing more. have been getting messages from buyers wondering where there packages are. I tell them all the same thing, I am sure the shipment delays are because of the coronavirus. Just seeing if anyone else is seeing the same delays.

The saboteur should be gone after January 20, replaced by a professional who can run the postal service properly. We can only hope that he won't do too much damage in the next 47 days.

I went ahead and pulled all my listings for the time being. No sense in battling the USPS. I still have 10 items randomly scattered about the country. Should give me enough to do just dealing with those buyers until after Christmas. Unfortunate, but I just don't feel like spending the holidays receiving negative feedback from impatient buyers who "wanted these as gifts for the grandchildren". If I never hear that phrase again it will be too soon!!!

Yes, I have never seen it this bad. I have 31 packages that are in limbo since November 24th. I understand the Holiday and COVID, but it's insane. Items sit in a sorting center for days without scans. Buyers asking where their items are. Ebay needs to address this quickly before it gets out of hand. I personally don't want to fight about negative feedback during the Holidays and a pandemic.

After reading all of the replies on this issue, I have to ask: Is no one aware that the USPS is under-staffed and overwhelmed at this time due to a combination of the Corona virus and the fact that there is a larger volume of mail due to the holiday and the fact that more people are shopping from home?

The package eventually showed "delivered" on November 19th! Buyer still said he never got it. I contacted ebay, and they told me that since I closed the case, that served as a contract between me and the buyer so I wasn't covered by "seller protection". Just an FYI. Next time, I'll let the case be escalated to ebay so that if they close it and it eventually shows up as delivered, at least I'll get my money back under the protection policy.

And guess what.................................. , if the package was not delivered within the allotted time frame you still would not be covered by "seller protection". You would get no money back.
And that would likely also earn you a defect for "case closed without seller resolution".

They are just using a stupid virus as a excuse. I'm sick, and tired of hearing about it. The virus is not a tornado or a dust devil that is going to prevent you from dropping a package off. You have a mask on what are they doing trying to fight the virus by swinging packages in the air. There is no way it can prevent you from dropping off a package. If the mask works than be quiet about it already. To answer you question yes they sent my Global Shipping order to a different address even though the receipt, and the package have the right address on it. People who can't read are working for them. They can only follow what a device says like they are a robot. Machines make mistakes looks at the dang package, and check the address. I'm going to contact them tomorrow. I can't stay on Ebay because I'm losing money, and I can't stand the taxes on items that don't belong to stores or the government.

I think that most of us are aware😊 That knowledge does not solve seller issues.
The problem is that "eBay" is not taking enough action to protect sellers (and possibly to notify buyers) in a way that make the platform user friendly.
Showing buyers that the item will arrive, or might arrive in 3-4 days at this point (and for quite some time) is setting us up for failure.

That was done by a machine. No one looked at your package, and sent it to Ohio.
A machine scanned it. Kicked it off the conveyor belt to be dropped in a cage sent to Ohio. It will/should get a missent scan, or other event scan, and be on it's way to Kentucky some day.

When I check tracking it says delivered already even though it is the wrong address.

People are looking for work why are they not hiring they know around this time of the year it gets extra busy. They ship mail from China just fine for pennies, but we pay four times more for bad service.
