Anyone else not liking the changes to package tracking? I hate it.

Used to be, I could click the "view tracking" information on a package I sent and immediately know the status, and where along the route it was all on one page.  Now I have to click on ANOTHER spot to get the details.  Its a stupid change.

Sure its a tiny world problem, but I mean honestly, it was FINE THE WAY IT WAS!  Why did they have to put the details under another level of clicking/tapping to view?  Its like instead of keeping anything useful as it is, they have to compound it and make it more interactive than necessary...  Ugh.

Surely I'm not alone noticing this?  Why make changes for the sake of making changes especially if they make the usefulness of a thing more complicated?

We have been just going to the usps tracking service,  as the information here tends to fail to update,  since last year.

Actually, that is not the problem I was talking about.  In fact I really don't have an issue with the update speed in general.  My thing was they added another layer to your effort in retrieving details, which frankly sucks.
