Anybody else having a problem with FedEx.

I have filed two claims against FedEx since January. They never responded to either. I filed a claim with BBB and FedEX's response was that they do not have a definete delivery date. Well this was after a month. I had to refund my customer and she eventually got the package. Anybody else having problems with FedEX. Also I have switched to UPS. Gaurentee delivery dates.

Based on reading posts on these boards, you can expect delivery issues to occasionally occur regardless of the carrier used.

Never use fedx smart post, it takes a minimum of 2 weeks to get across the county.

The package gets man handled being transfered from truck to truck, its not worth the couple of bucks saved.

I agree.  It does take longer for fedex smart post to get delivered vs usps.  Both carrier (usps and fedex) manhandle packages from time to time... guess it depends on the employee handling the package.

I have not used fedex much and have not had an issue with fedex yet.  I have, however, used USPS 99% of the time.  I have run into problems with their service lately with packages go missing and they won't reimburse the postage.  If you sent items first class, certified mail, etc. and your package goes missing, you are out of luck on postage and item.

Only grace is the priority mail and priority mail express... they do pay upto $50 of the value of the item.  For sellers with low priced item, the postage cost whole lot more than the item.
