I mailed a package priority with required signature, and when I later went to enter the tracking info for the buyer, I realized somehow I lost the USPS receipt. My first time ever making this blunder. The package has been mailed, understandably the buyer wants the tracking number. Is the USPS able to reprint receipts? I paid with a card in person ( it was not an online label)

I believe the USPS office you shipped from can help, with this information given to them, date sent, address sent to and the approximate time you were at the post office. I have found the clerks in my local post office to be extremely helpful. They just need some information to help you get the reprinted receipt. Make sure you tell them you paid with your card.
Good Luck!!

@titanictarn. Oh boy hun, I don't know if the transaction number on your CC would show anything or not, have you retraced your steps? Look in your car, between the seats, coat pockets etc.
There is couple post office people on the forum like oldwestgold maybe they can help. Good luck to you and Merry Christmas.

The office that you mailed it from could look through their daily reports to retrieve that information.
Getting them to do that would be another thing.
