Hello,
This is my first time selling, and I was wondering what I'm supposed to do for shipping if I have USPS Media Mail selected. Do I have to put my item in a box with the shipping label? Or do I just put the item with the shipping label in the mail?

It's with the box and everything, and no I have not weighed it
Don't decide anything until you weigh it. You are going to have to get a postal scale if you want to sell here.

In its original box with all inserts, you could wrap that box in a few layers of bubble wrap and put it in a padded Flat Rate Envelope.
But before you list more items it would serve you well to do some homework. Also get a postage scale.

Yes, the only boxes and envlopes that are provided are for Priority or Express Priority use only. A few years back, the USPS noticed there boxes were being turned "inside out" for shipping so that immediately began having the boxes printed inside out as well.
On another note, MEDIA MAIL is now being heavily monitored by the USPS. Movies and games no longer qualify as MEDIA MAIL because they are for entertainment and not educational purpose. Ebay sellers and buyers already have risked delays in shipping for inspected MEDIA MAIL packages and now they will experience even more frustration if a package is returned to the seller or perhaps sent on to the buyer with a POSTAGE DUE notice. My neighbor is a carrier and he told me that without any prior warning, the USPS Postmaster General, sent out a
declaration that all MEDIA MAIL items are subject to inspection and any items that do not meet the requirements, will be sent back to the sender , or the recipient with a Postage Due notice for the correct class of shipment. Ebay so far has said nothing about this.

Media Mail packages have always been open to inspection; that is not news.
Games are not eligible for MM, but movies are.

"Movies and games no longer qualify as MEDIA MAIL because they are for entertainment and not educational purpose."
Movies can be shipped via Media Mail.
