Why do I not have access to all the shipping options when I start an auction ???? I have multiple items that need to be shipped in very large boxes and when I create the auction I get a limited list of shipping options thru the 3 many carriers yet when go to print the label I get a huge list of shipping options which will now include UPS ground which then causes me to have to issue a refund to the buyer and I am pretty sure it is also costing me sales because potential buyers just run when they see the shipping price on the auction page. How did I get UPS ground to be one of the default shipping options I can offer buyers so I don't have to go thru all those extra steps after a sale is completed ????

they are all there when you create the listing
if you are using "policies" just create a new policy or edit the existing one:
you can scroll through all the options for your item/category

Hi - I have the same problem as the original poster. I don't see the same screen option that are posting. Where do you change or set up all of those options? Is there a link? I usually check flat rate for all buyers (versus the calculated shipping). I don't see all of the USPS Priority Mail options (such as Small Flat Rate Box, Small Flat Rate Envelope, Small Flat Rate Legal Envelope) and USPS Express Mail Flat Rate Envelope (both regular and legal). Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Hi @rifter7. eBay made an unannounced change related to setting up listings with certain types of packaging. When package dimensions entered exceed eBay's programmed dimensions, eBay will not show you those shipping options when setting up your listing.
To access these services, enter the following package dimensions:
USPS Flat Rate Envelopes: 12x9x1
USPS Small Flat Rate Box: 8x5x1
USPS Med Flat Rate Box: 11x8x6 or 14x12x3 (we don't yet have confirmation on the restrictions eBay applied)
USPS Large Flat Rate Box: 12x12x6
eBay Standard Envelope: 11x6x0.25

GLORIOUS! indeed - thank you!
On the dimensions, I tended to use 10 x 7 x 2 (the 2 was screwing it up - I was trying to be conservative on my dimensions). When I changed it to 10 x 7 x 1, many more options, including those Flat Rate options did appear.
Also, good to know on the upcoming changes to First Class packages.

Thank You- I've been going crazy with the newest Shipping Options or lack of options and your work around of putting in the box size works. Your solution is a good work around for now but I really hate the way this is set up and find it so counter-intuitive. Also people should note that you have to pick which shipping is your preference by hitting the dots (upper right of option).
Hoping eBay will Fix this Shipping Option Fiasco ASAP!
Thanks, Anne

Not sure if this will help but I did solve my problem by joining the new seller hub which lets you create shipping policies that your buyer can pick from. I now have both USPS and UPS ground as an option at purchase. I also have another policy set up strictly for media mail shipments.
