Advice on what to do (not sure if USPS delivered to a wrong address)?

Hey there.

So, I purchased an item on Jun 14 and the tracking says the item was delivered in Jun 25, but nothing showed up.

I live outside of USA, so everything I buy I need to send to a reshipper first. I contacted them on Jun 27, nothing. Sent a message again today to see if they received anything, still nothing.

I'm just kind lost of what I should do now. I've used this reshipper a bunch of times before without issues, and the seller have a good reputation with a lot of sales. So my guess is that USPS just screwed up somewhere? I also noticed that the tracking says the item was delivered in the 19720 zip code, while the shipping address was in 19726 zip code (prints below), but I have no idea if this changes anything.

Should I take this directly to USPS? If yes, could anyone point me where to open a claim? Or should I wait a couple more days to see if they will still deliver it? I don't think this is the case, but could this be related to the recent problem with labels they were having? I just want to receive the item.

Thanks in advance!

The zip code changes nothing. 19720 and 19726 are essentially the same zip. 19726 is the post office zip and 19720 is your forwarder's dedicated zip due to package volume.

According to tracking the item was successfully delivered. USPS will not investigate and your seller's job is done. eBay will protect the seller and deny your claim as tracking confirms delivery.

This is strictly between you and your forwarder.

So, there's basically nothing I can do at this point? 😕

Unfortunately, that's correct. It's one of the risks of using a freight forwarder. When tracking confirms delivery all you can do is work with the forwarder because the carrier is confirming they successfully handed off the package to your forwarder and it's in your forwarder's possession. If the forwarder lost it, that's on them, not the seller or eBay or the shipping carrier.

Same thing if the item arrives and it's broken or different than advertised - all you can do is work with your forwarder as eBay's Money Back Guarantee protections no longer apply once a third party reships.

If you want protections to Brazil, buy from sellers offering eBay International Shipping.

Check your forwarder's website for their liability policy and whether they offer coverage for this type of situation. More reputable forwarders will offer coverage.
