Adding additional shipping insurance after printing label

Hello. Can anyone inform me how to add additional shipping insurance to a item after already printing the shipping label?

The only way I know of is to void the first label and purchase another to include insurance.

if you are shipping USPS ground advantage or priority insurance is already included.

There's no way to do that after printing the label. You'll need to Void that one and issue another one with your desired Insurance amount ticked... found at the lower part of the Label screen. The 'Voided' refund will take about 3 weeks to be credited. Good luck.

Included up to $100, but not for the $2,400 item the OP just sold. So your advice to void and purchase a new label is what @phillyman69 should do.

To void a shipping label purchased through eBay, go to this page, find the order and select Void from the Actions drop-down. The void option is available for 5 days.

It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided label. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification.
