NO. The seller is responsible for the shipment. Did they ask to pay outiside of ebay. Did they ask for your email, phone number ? Those are scams. I see that you are a new seller. Let me guess, you sold an expensive item? Before you ship, make sure that you look in MY EBAY and see that the funds are there. You MUST ship to the address in the payment that you see in MY EBAY. IF the payment is NOT there, they did NOT pay! Also if the item is $750.oo or more, YOU MUST SEND IT WITH SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION and you pay for this. If you do not understand what is MY EBAY, come back here.

Thank you very much for your help. Yes I’m new and learning eBay what you can do and can’t do can be painful. Shipping I find is very hard. I have not sold the item As of yet the customer just ask the question.

The buyer might be honest but then again the account could belong to their boss who will eventually deny the unauthorized charge which will fall back on you to pay it. Figure a cost for next day air and have them ask for a total cost through the shopping cart. Then you can send an amended invoice that includes a new shipping cost.

If the item has not sold yet, you can try updating the listing by adding the next day to availed shipping services.
What is shown in the listing is what is available to the buyer. No changes after the sale. Only communicate through eBay messages. Personally, I would block this person, sounds like the start of a newbie seller scam.

never ever let a prospective buyer induce you to change your shipping carrier
dont let any ebayer lead you astray from your comfort zone
shipping is the easiest part of ebay, its a piece of cake once you have been paid
simply put, ship how you feel like it, its your money on the line
this forum can help you a lot so thanks for stopping by

The buyer is rated a 100% positive and been a member Since 2016. I have sent a message back to him that I can add the cost into the sell price. We will see.

Buyer just may want to use their account because they get much better rates than a seller can provide, but once the buyer's shipping account is used, the seller loses all control of what happens with the shipping. Shipping can be redirected, failing to deliver to the provided address. Seller then loses eBay protection.

Buyers will always have 100% positive feedback. There is no option to leave negative or neutral feedback for buyers.
If the listing is active and without bids or pending offers, you can edit the listing to add the overnight shipping option.
If this potential buyer is in such a hurry, why are they dragging their feet on buying.
If I needed something ‘overnight’, I wouldn’t take more than a couple hours to make the purchase.
Why are they asking an inexperienced seller to change the parameters of the listing?
If I wanted special considerations, I would find an experienced seller who might better understand my needs.
This potential buyer would be put on my blocked bidder list.

Another reason why you can 't do it because when you register anywhere for any account, ONLY the person that registered is supposed to use it. No one else is allowed to use it.
