Did you mean:

5 different points of size info, yet because buyer "thought" it was another one, they get a refund??

Hello, just returned to Ebay after several years. I've never had a return filed (in over 20 years of a 100% rating).

This buyer thought they were buying an XL. They've filed an "item not as described" return. Their excuse: it's "not fair."

  1. The item details state it is a L.
  2. The photographs show the tag, which clearly is an L.
  3. The photographs show the measuring tape, showing the inches/size.
  4. The written description states "tag size L."
  5. The written description includes both the company size chart, and the measurements I took.
  6. I am listing as a NO RETURNS ACCEPTED seller.

I'm trying to fight it but as I'm sure you know, Ebay is a ghost (haven't tried to call yet, if that's even a thing). Even Poshmark doesn't treat buyers like this. I'm wondering if there's any way I could have described it more accurately (just kidding, there's literally not).

I would call eBay (or request a call from eBay). What isn't fair is a buyer trying to force you to take a return AND pay for said return because they didn't read or look at pictures.

If eBay won't close it at this stage over the phone, I would accept the return. Once it is returned back, refund the buyer to close the case. Then call eBay to file an appeal.

@shelschok

If you want the item back before refunding, I wouldn't call or try to fight the return.

Your no returns just tells Ebay you don't want the item back, not that you won't be refunding.

If buyer has Ebay step in, or you try to fight it, they could refund buyer from your Pay Pal account and let them keep the item.

Have a great day.

If you check your title,  you will see that you are selling an XL- Black Betabrand travel dress, 3 pockets! Swing shift tunic modest passport XL    If you want it back, you should accept the return.  The buyer will win.

That will not happen so it is pointless to even make the call.

They'd have better luck throwing their phone in the ocean.
