30 day returns required to automatically re-list items that don't sell?

got an email

 then gives me a link to 12 items (of like 80 I have for sale) and those are all 14 days returns. 

I couldn't find anything specific that 30 days is needed. I used to have it at 30 day for top rated plus but top rated plus is not worth the hassle of same/next day shipping to save me like $1 per $50 profit so I gave up on that Top Rated  

I see it says you need Seller/Free returns and 30 day now for Top Rated, but couldn't see anything for non-top rated needed 30 day (buyer pays) just to simply have the item re-list automatically if it doesn't sell in 30 days.

Most categories, 14 day returns is not an option anymore and you have to change it to 30 day returns.

Your question mentions several things and I'm not sure I understand what you need to know...  but the one thing I am sure of is the last sentence. 

No, you don't have to let the item re-list automatically if it hasn't sold in the first 30 days.  You can end the listing anytime before the final time/date, stopping the auto-relist, and not be charged an insertion fee.  You can later relist if you want to, or not.

i WANT the items to automatically relist if unsold after 30 days. I don't have about insertion fees. 

I want to know if it's now REQUIRED to have minimal 30 day return in order to be relisted automatically. The message I quoted I got from ebay makes it sound as if it will NOT be auto relisted unless you offer at least 30 day returns (which is just ridiculous lol but I have to comply).

I'll call ebay to make sure I guess. thanks.
