The new listing tool has broken for 2 days now -- all descriptions removed!

I was forced to start using the new listing / revision tool. When I enter a description (revision of an existing listing, and sell similar) and then save, it removes the entire description from the listing. Doesn't matter what I put in the description, the system empties it out upon save.

How are you rolling out a new listing tool that has a major error with no way to revert to the old tool...

i do think some kind harm full word in your description as  a mistake, you can contact the help center and get the soluation, i do think its a best way for you....

A while back there was a similar sounding issue -- the problem then seemed to be that whatever changes were made in the last field touched were not being saved. The workaround at that time was to make any necessary changes, then click on another field that had no changes before saving.

The listing tool is still broken! Any eBay SWE listening?

No descriptions in my listings regardless of using sell similar or create new via web browser.

UPDATE

I created a new listing and even though there was a description, the system returned an error that I must include a description. The 2nd time I saved, it saved without an description in the listing.

I used a different browser (was using Chrome on Mac, tried Safari) and revised an item. The system wouldn't let me click into the description box. I switched to HTML and updated the description, and it saved!

There you go, Ebay software engineers -- PLEASE FIX!
