No, posting here does not have any impact on your selling account @u2_vintage . It's a myth spread to overseas sellers through youtube and other outlets. Posting here will not increase your sales, it will not improve your seller rating, and it's not a place to advertise.

I recommend posting less advice when you're brand new and just getting started. For example, you recently posted on a bunch of shipping threads with information that is well-intentioned, but not really helpful, because you're not familiar with USPS shipping as a resident of Jordan.

My advice to you is stick around, learn a lot, post questions when you have them and participate in discussions centered around opinions/discussions, but only offer selling advice when you have enough experience on the topic to back up your advice - especially on topics that can be complex like shipping and account restrictions and eBay policies.

I hope that helps.

@u2_vintage

Not at all.  But as a new seller, it is helpful to read and learn from others who have been selling on eBay since it started.  Lots of seasoned, smart veteran sellers who probably know more about selling & buying than eBay, Inc & give the best, correct and most precise advice to those who need it.  You can learn a lot.

Happy selling

Only if you're from Sri Lanka.

For some reason they think posting here will make them a top rated seller.

Have a great day.

No, nor does it benefit you as a buyer.
