How do you get misuse of "helpful" to those monitoring such things.
A community "member" that joined in June has been going through 100's of threads clicking on helpful for all responses.
I realize that the helpful earns nothing that I care about. Yes, I can turn notifications off, but I sometimes use the notification to return to a thread to read a bit more of it.
The constant barrage from the ID doing this is annoying.
Not sure what the motivation is for doing it is, or why it continues.

I did private message him or her about it...no response...I was just curious why myself...
Edit" All responses and opening threads too...

I suppose he's motivated to earn the "Badge" for leaving 50 "Helpful" ratings. Or the badge for 100 or heaven help us the badge for 500 or 1000.
Misuse of ratings is basically a subjective thing, but surely rating everything as helpful would be seen as abuse. Probably the only way to draw attention is to do an @ type alert to one of the actual eBay staff. I don't know if they monitor their messages on weekends.

Uh, that ID hit the 5000 mark quickly:)

I was going to mention the same, but wasn’t sure how to word it. Thanks for bringing it up.
Yes, we must choose our words carefully. The toes we step on may be our own.

I just got a bunch from them. I feel like I'm being stalked!!
They do sell (and nothing that I would EVER in my lifetime buy online) so maybe they think this is the way they reach buyers ... by posting helpfuls to our posts.
Do they think we can give them helpfuls back? Sorry, I turned that option off the day it started because it clogs up my slow internet to have all that stuff like signatures, helpfuls etc.

Thanks for tagging me. Will look into the concerns shared on this thread and decide if action is required.

Seems that there was a bit of a break, but now back at it again with "helpful" popping up on threads that are months old.
Maybe there was a Holiday in that part of the world.
Maybe it is their goal to add a helpful for every post/thread on the boards:) (except on this thread) Trying to set a world record for helpful's given.
Not a great increase in their sales, so apparently they are not reaching their target audience by using the "helpfuls" here on the boards.
