Did you mean:

Why does eBay ask for our feedback if they don't actually want to read it?

A stupid box shows up asking for my feedback and so I write this long post and then it tells me to limit my comment to 500 characters... really? Why the hell did you even ask?

So I filled it out again and then it said this:

You know what? I'm just going to say it. This forum sucks.

It's absurd that we can't edit our posts.
It's authoritarian that we can't delete our own posts.
Your search feature completely sucks

This is the only community that punishes users for asking for help in the wrong format.
And the 500 character limit of that box sucks! I came here to ask a question, but the website immediately started glitching, and then Ebay asked from my feedback about my experience and limited me to 500 characters! I'm not even going to tell you what's wrong with your website- you'll just have to figure it out yourselves!

@neworleans_43 I'm going to get this reported to the right folks who can look into the 500 character limit. That's not a lot of space to give feedback!

I hear you on not being able to edit or delete your own posts. I'll see if there's a setting under our admin tools to see if we can make changes to this. If not, I'll submit this as an idea to the Khoros forum. Since I'm able to edit and delete my posts, I wasn't aware users in the Community can't do the same.
