What has happened to the boards? No listings?

How can we help posters if we can't see their listings?

I was just wondering the same thing! A few sellers have a profile pic on the boards, along with their FB number, listings, etc. (and it's linked). The rest seem to be largely "blanked out," with no links to any of that. I was wanting to see someone's listings and there was no reasonable way to get there. I'm not going to waste time trying to find a generic username URL, copy and paste in their username, etc. That's nuts. And I see nowhere here (on a computer--not phone) to edit anything of substance on one's profile or link to one's listings. 

What, did someone at eBay get bored and divide by zero again? 😮

     It's been this way for a couple of days. Started out intermittent with a few posters at first now it seems that any post is that way. Obviously some technical change that has broken the link whether that was intentional or a programming error is difficult to say.

@dbfolks166mt Were it intentional, it would definitely be one of those "not the sharpest knife" moves. Here's hoping it was just a "coder with serious ADHD" thing.

@moondogblues   This issue is several weeks old now ... they are working on it.  One of the most recent Community roll outs was an "out of box" format so Khoros is making changes to THAT program.  So essentially they are making a custom program and the time frame for completion is unknown.

There was an announcement by eBay that this is/was a Khoros issue and that Khoros is supposedly working on it.

Is there a Communism equivalent for Godwin's Law? Whenever some people see something they don't like, even if it's a glitch or the most capitalistic act a company could make, we get "Socialism! Communism!!1!!!!1!!" posts.

No, what is getting old is eBay was transparent. Now it's not.

When someone changed their name you could tell.  Then you couldn't search completed listings in some foreign countries. Find MEMBER contact info button was removed.  Try getting contact information now.....lol.. Now  you can make your feedback private, which feedback should be available to sellers.  They stopped letting sellers leave factual feedback.  They prohibit items that are legal to sell. They force sellers to accept an electronic method of payment for local pickups.  They are now screwing with our profile pictures and trying their damnest to make it harder to see listings and feedback.  They call it a glitch but I go with the frog in hot water theory. Put a frog in a pot of hot water and he'll jump right out. Put him in cold water and turn up the heat gradually he'll get used to it past the point where he would've jumped out. We are frogs in eBay's pot of water. Some of the changes were not glitches. 

I don't know about you but it looks more and more like eBay is leaning towards whatever you call it.
