Threads are in the wrong place...

Hi, When someone writes a start thread here & it is in the wrong place, why are the comments not transferred to the correct place along with the thread?  I have several times with accounts, try to help the person. These comments I have made are not under the original post.

The comments do transfer to the new forum.

I just saw it 30 seconds ago with one in this forum I responded to and then reported to the mods to be moved (to Shipping and Returns where it belongs)

It may be that the comments are inappropriate in general, or become unrelated when the thread is moved, and the mods take the opportunity to edit the thread while moving it. Don't know, but any moved threads I've paid attention to retained their content as far as I have seen.

And this is the wrong forum for this post you made - it belongs in Community Platform Feedback but I'm not going to report it - maybe it will serve as a heads up for those who think that the forum title "Seller Hub" means it's a forum that is a meeting place for sellers to ask about anything and jabber. Which it is not - it is for specific issues with the eBay Seller Hub selling management interface (which is why I participate in it. Not to plow through threads that belong elsewhere which seems to be about 90% of them here.)

Threads are in the wrong place...

Hi,  I am sorry you are wrong. I have tried to help 2 posts in the last week. Short & sweet, I told them what had happened to me, how I fixed it & say maybe they could try that also. I always add to my helpful hints, how nice E-Bay is to help if you get a rep who understands stands you & who you can understand. It is just plain rude for anyone who answers a post to not have that transfer also. Maybe if there was an easier way where to starts posts, they ould not have to move so many. Thanks...

I see the mod's  moved these 2 posts & when I click the link and move down I can see your posts in them .
when they move posts to the correct board all comments do move
Been that way for as many years as I can remember .
They need to move them to the correct boards as many members post in the incorrect spot & may not get the help they need

Here's a link where you can see all the comments you've posted. Unless a comment has been deleted by a moderator, you can see it here:

You take a look at your list of comments and tell us about the ones that are missing. Maybe we can help you figure out why the mods deleted them.
