Just wanted to say thanks to eBay. I like how you made it so that when somebody quotes another post, it @mentions the user they quoted. That is a nice improvement, and I really like it.

It would be helpful if I couldn't keep track of where I'm posting.  As it is.....don't need it / want it.  It's easy enough to ignore and manipulate, so no big deal.

You like it? I don't because every time some quotes the @ 
it dumps into my email saying I have been mentioned, It's to much for me and other then turning everything off in my profile it continues .
I quote but remove the @
in front and leave just the person's user ID so it doesn't call people back to the post time after time .

I guess that doesn't bother me, because I have a seperate email set up for this id so that I don't have to sort through them in my main one.

I looked a few months ago, and there were a few thousand emails in my inbox then

I find the @mention helpful because I can easily see who replied to me when looking at my notifications.

I think it is nice, but it is fine if other don't.

I think it is a glitch, which seems to have resulted in excessive notifications being sent out.

I have all emails except PM notifications turned off, but the quoted @ mentions were poluting my notifications feed.
