@rebell45 I'm not sure I understand what you mean by wandering, but I want to get it reported if there's an issue. Can you give me more of a description of what you're seeing?

We do have a plan to better organize pinned post in the future though, which will hopefully clear up a lot of the downsides of pinning posts.

Oh, I'm just seeing a couple Read Only announcements floating around farther down the pages. Thought the were suppose to stay at the top.

Pinned posts always appear in two places simultaneously while they're pinned:

1. At the top.

2. In chronological order by last post date (since that's the only way to sort threads these days).

When the post is unpinned, as in your posted example, it will no longer appear at the top but will continue to appear chronologically based on last post date. The last post date in your example is April 1, 2021, so, although it has been unpinned, it still appears with the other threads that have the same last post date of April 1, 2021.
