New font pretty much unreadable for anyone with poor eyesight

The new font on these boards is so thin and so faint that I must enlarge it to the maximum and then can still barely read it.  I have failing eyesight and this does not work for anyone in my situation.  I can maximize the size, then select all the text in a post, make it boldface, and read it fairly well -- but I doubt I'll go to that much trouble.

Too bad that readability took second fiddle to fashion in selecting a default font for these boards..

Not sure who else is experiencing this one, but my text defaults to Arial. When I use the "bold" option on a highlighted passage, instead of converting it to bold, it changes the font to something else that certainly looks quite similar, but isn't Arial . . . 

Here's a passage I typed in Arial, highlighted, and applied the "bold" option:

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.

I'm able to bold the passage if I highlight the passage again and change the font back to Arial with the font icon. Now the font shows up correctly and the passage is bold.

"Nearly undetectable"?

Maybe for you, but for me, and evidently others, smaller print in gray, not black.

No,,, I agree with you @maxine*j  I was saying the difference between threads that I have read and those I have not was nearly undetectable.. It's usually much bolder on the unread titles. 

Thank fully it seems to be fixed now.. **Fingers crossed it stays that way**

@pikabo-icu I've noted what you've observed about the titles. I'm curious if the image next to your star level has it ever showed the image? I just noticed the same with @dhbooks handle too. I'll add it to the list to fix.

The titles seem to be fixed as of now on Chrome anyway, Thank you.

If you mean my avatar? Next to the stars, it's always shown for me and still is.

That area seems to be fine, I haven't noticed any change at least viewing from my end.

sheila@ebay Just noticed the favicon in the browser address bar, that's always been the eBay logo is changed now too.  It's now displaying the Khoros logo.

I just noticed that too. I frequently browse with a lot of different tabs open at any given time. Every once and a while I'll go and "Clean up" by closing tabs. I was doing that tonight and noticed a tab with a logo I didn't recognize. It's the eBay Community.....weird.

I use Firefox and was having several problems today. Saw your suggestion,  cleared my cookies, cache, etc. Everything is back to normal. Thanks for posting!
