Invalid HTML in Message Body

This error pops up with incredibly frightening frequency on this forum software using the regular features.  Basically I use the quote function to respond to something and delete whatever it is I'm not responding to and get that.  Ultimately, I really can't fix it or repost without waiting out the spam filter and resubmitting without the quote function.

Any way that this is going to get fixed?

Invalid HTML in Message Body

@2013grotz

When I'm confident there's no html other than the "tag" in quoted material, I delete the quote from the comment, cut the remaining verbiage out of the comment, totally reload the entire page, and post again without the quote. Then, I can usually add the quote back in by editing my comment.

Easy peazy, no?   😁

Seriously, you're preaching to the choir. I do think the "team" (meaning eBay and Khoros) are working on trying to get that fixed, though

ETA: I knew if I looked long enough, I'd find it . . .

I have been seeing the same issue, sometimes even when just typing a word in the reply triggers it, not just cut and paste or a quote! What I have found works sometimes, copy your message. Cancel first and start fresh pasting the first one in a new reply box.
