How to search for questions with accepted solutions

Hi Community members. For those of you that use the search bar for answers to your questions, there is a way to filter so you receive results that are solved and have accepted solutions. The process is simple, after you search click on the filter metadata and select solved. After doing this the results should show posts with accepted solutions first! We hope this is helpful in your daily use of the eBay community and gives you a more efficient way to search and find the results you need quickly!

How to search for questions with accepted solutions

Is it okay to comment?

It's misleading if you ask me. I know a lot of questions that have factual and helpful answers yet the OP chooses not to mark any of them as resolved, or worse they gave credit to a wrong answer. JUST saying.

You're "JUST saying" what everyone else is thinking. The entire "solution" process has lost what little integrity it had.

@fab_finds4u you're right. I'm struggling with what to do about that. I certainly welcome any suggestions.

Perhaps a Mentor can tag the OP and let them know an answer that's better for the Accepted Solution? Are the words 'Accept as Solution' confusing? If so I can change it.

I've been following some of the mentors' posts. From what I've read, I'm not convinced that group is any better equipped to make that kind of determination than any other member--present company excepted.

Isn't that a part of what the Community Team members are doing? I know one of them removed a solution I had received from an OP and selected their own post as the solution. Perhaps members could @ mention the Community Team to review the solution, de-select it if it's incorrect, and either select a different post as the solution or post the solution themselves and select their own post as the solution.

I'm sure you'll recall I had @ mentioned you in perhaps a dozen threads where the solution selected by an OP was inappropriate. Rather than address that as the larger problem, the focus seemed to shift to Community Team members entering threads and selecting a solution themselves, leaving all the threads for which an inappropriate solution had been chosen. At the time, all these threads with inappropriate solutions must not have been considered important. Now, it would seem that they will be a much larger problem that might even render this new feature less than useful.

Good luck with this new feature being considered helpful to community participants. Thanks for posting about it.
