Here are the issues that I'm currently tracking:
On the list:
- Difficult to edit posts or report an inappropriate post. It only works after selecting edit after the 3rd or 4th time -bug has been replicated and this is now a work in progress. The support team has mentioned that Safari or the use of an external mouse might be the cause of this issue. No new updates.
- Error showing that this widget could not be displayed - listed as low priority with support. No new updates
- Notification bell not showing the unseen notification . Support was FINALLY able to replicate this. There are four different issues going on with the notification bell. Let me backtrack a bit here. The notification bell isn't out of box and is something that I worked with the Development team to implement last year. So it's a custom solution. Part of the reason we're not seeing updates because certain parts of the components are out of box and it's not going to react to a notification. So the best thing to do is refresh your screen and then the bell will update. I plan on meeting the Developer and TAM the week after next so I can provide a better explanation here.
- There might be a lag in posting on the Ask a Mentor board. Replicating this issue is a challenge since the pages redirect from the Help center. Since this is so random, I think asking for a recording is an unreasonable request. I talked to the EU team about this problem and they have a theory that the posts are hitting the spam filter and then are getting released by Moderators, hence the reason for the lag.
- HTML error messages show when posting emojis or quoting anything that has an emoji - Resolved. Do post on the platform board if you see this again.
- When you return to a post, say after reading only the first 5 out of 30, it used to take you to the very last post instead of where you left off. There was an update that was pushed out a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not 100% happy with it. Ideally, what I would like to happen is that the post should leave off where you left off last, kind of like reading a book. I'm waiting to hear back from the Developer to see if this is possible, so I can't make any promises yet. Though I'm happy that this is an improvement. What is working is if you participate in a post, it'll take you to wear you last left off on the post.
Minor errors:
1. Emojis are too small. If you search for cat emojis and scroll to the bottom of the list, those emojis are hard to see when used in a post. This isn't going to get fixed for a while.
2. Speaking of cats, there are three cat emojis that have repeated well over 100 times. This was fixed in an update last week.
3. The EU Community members are reporting that emojis aren't showing in 2nd posts in a thread. So if you use emojis in the first post, they aren't going to show on the 2nd post I believe an update was pushed out for this. I'll need to follow up with the EU team.
4. Some posts have the wrong creation date, though I suspect this might have to do with stale Community windows. No new updates
5. A blue line shows very briefly when a Community post is posted by a non-eBay employee. No new updates and low priority.
6. There are error messages when posting emojis. Have you seen this in the last week or so?

If you come across an issue on Community please note:
- The date and time that you ran into the bug
- How long you have been active on Community during your browsing session or how long the page has been up on your browser but not being used. We suspect pages that have stayed idle for a long time are susceptible to errors.
- The browser and operating system that you are using
- Videos and screenshots are also extremely helpful
To avoid running into errors when using community make sure you refresh your page often.

@msbear624 Tyler is no longer with eBay so he won't be able to access the private board. I do see he's the owner of the board and I'll look into seeing if we can remove him completely. If an eBay staff member is needed, I'll add myself.

sheila@ebay The @ Mention list when replying to a specific post does not always have that post's author on the list ... I know this was addressed previously AND it does work right at times but there are times it does not ... pic below.

@mr_lincoln I've noticed something kind of fishy going on with @ mentions again, but haven't had a chance to look into this yet.
